Heart Cookie Cutter Quilt

This is one of my quilts that. I decide to put the top on and just play. I used King Tut thread as I had one that was variegated with lots of bright colors. The background is meandered. I did the same freehand design in the small hears and the insides of the large hearts and did small loops on the edges of the large hearts to add texture. I did loops in the small border and the same design from Darlene Epp that I used on the last quilt in the outer boarder. The variegated thread looks great on the black batik of the outer border.

This is a close up of the quilting that I did in the small hears and the center of the larger hearts.

I really like how the border turn out. I love the bright variegated thread on the black batik.

I had a lot of fun working on this and playing on the machine.
